How to enrol

To be enrolled for one of Westminster Platform’s three programmes, a pupil needs to be nominated by their school, which will be one of our partner schools. Currently we have partnerships with 37 state schools in and around London. Partner schools are invited to nominate pupils to take part in our Westminster Platform programme; usually pupils are nominated by their form or head teacher.

When are pupils enrolled?

Schools nominate pupils in the autumn prior to when the schemes start. For example, nominations for 2024 will be considered from September 2023, and this pattern remains the same every year. For example, a Platform Pup pupil will be nominated in the first term of Year 2; a Platform pupil in the first term of Year 5; and a Platform+ pupil in the first term of Year 10.

How to become a partner school

We are currently receiving a high volume of interest and can only work with partnership schools for the time being. We are, however, always open to hearing from state schools across the city; if you are the head of a London-based school and are interested in our partnership scheme, please email Rob Morgan, our Director of Platform and Widening Access.
